Peerspace is an online marketplace for unique and interesting locations: An Airbnb for event, meeting, and production spaces.

Peerspace was looking to understand their product-market fit in Europe and asked Expansion Partner to help them kick-start their operations in select European cities.

Expansion Partner conducted a strategic planning workshop with Peerspace in San Francisco to map out a light-weight expansion plan.

Following an in-depth study of the market, London, Paris, and Berlin were chosen as the three cities for Peerspace to enter in Europe.

Expansion Partner focused on using the existing product with minimal localization. As part of Peerspace’s launch in Europe, Expansion Partner recruited and managed three market managers, generated viable supply in the three selected markets, and drove demand via B2B and online marketing. Finally, we developed a comprehensive playbook to guide Peerspace through further European expansion.

Peerspace was launched in London, Paris, and Berlin within six weeks of the project launch. During this process Peerspace gained a firsthand understanding of how to launch in Europe and became equipped to expand further independently.
